Saints Row FTW

So I picked up a new xbox 360 game today the first one in a good couple months at least. There was a kind of lull between games. Unfortunately I misjudged my pay schedule and bought it today when I get paid tomorrow, ah well ill survive.

I was able to partially break in the new r/c truck last night, started later then planned and it gets dark so soon. I will finish tonight and everything should be good to go, man that thing is a blast to drive.

I am now ceasing all major unneeded purchased lol, these impluse buys (although awesometastic) are really destroying my budget lol.

The return of the blogger

Never fear, I is here. Wow its been a long time since I entered anything, but Ive been so busy its nuts. To catch up we are officially moved into the new house and it is everything I would have hoped it to be. I cant believe how great it is, and im thrilled that I never have to go back to that apartment again.

I went to do the official move out with my landlord, I missed some things but overall I really didnt care about cleaning and what was missed. I will get some of my cash back and thats fine by me, the guy is a slum lord and I knew I wouldnt get my cash back in full $10 to clean the top of the cupboard? Frick I want that job!

Speaking of jobs I have quit the College effective Sept 4/06 and accepted a position at the Bank here in town, it has branches all over the province and it should be pretty cool. More money of course, but more room to move in the organization. One bummer is that I have to wear a shirt and tie, ah well one small piece of freedom gone lol. It will be a change for sure being that I have been at the college for 7 years 2 of which as a student. Im sure that people will miss me and I know I will miss harassing some of them. Of course there are those I wont miss one bit and that is that.

More recent news I purchased a new set of computer speakers, logitech z-5300e's I havent actually hooked them up yet due to limited space. The office at the moment is still kinda cramped as there are some boxes of books and such, I gotta get a nice big bookshelf. Also my g/f's dad is going to build a nice big desk so we can both use it for our computers. Having a g/f who plays the same games I do is the best lol.

I have also purchased a traxxas t-maxx (a nitro powered r/c monster truck). Vals bro and I bought them at a local hobby shop, getting a deal of course haha. Unfortunately mine had some initial starting troubles, which I have now fixed I think. His worked really well and after an afternoon of breaking in the engine I now have a nice bright red sunburn to show for it haha. Serves me right since I go from white as hell to burn in like 20 mins lol, next time suntan lotion for the win.

So that is a quick update on whats been going on thus far. I skipped some things obviously but now im caught up to speed and can continue on once again.

Unscheduled trip

Got a call from my bro yesterday that we had to go to the lawyer's office for my case that was pending, that old lady had it coming ... stupid slow drivers....


Just kidding haha, we had to sign the papers for the house. So an hour and a half later we arrived to sign the papers, the final thing left to do and its a great feeling. The move in date is still set for the 14th of August. Im hoping that we can get in earlier if possible, the last couple days have been great knowing I will soon be out of that apartment building.

They have started the construction of the new offices for the I.T. department, lots of noise and stuff going on. Ive moved out of the office for the time being, just too hard to think and work with all that going on. Cant wait for it to be finished it will be sweet. I will have my own office plus a new work area so I wont have to tear machines apart on my desk to work on them. All is good so far *knocks on wood* .

Wow that movie was really really good!

So I watched V for Vendetta, very good movie. I have to admit that I wasnt really sure what to expect because there was a lot of hype around it while it was in theaters. Plus since the guys from the matrix were involved you would almost think it would be another super action movie. But it isnt at all.

More like a drama mixed with some action, and when the action hits its fast and entertaining. I wont really go into the whole story here, but I highly recommend picking it up. I actually went online and ordered the movie poster, I think once its framed it will go well in the office.

Move out progress : 70% complete

With the help of my girlfriend the apartment is coming along. The majority of the items have been packed and most of whats left are the things that are used daily. As the end of the week gets closer I will pack up the dishes, pots and pans, and cutlery and use the disposible kind. Also more cleaning will start, mainly the walls and windows. The oven was cleaned and is now on do not use mode lol. I am not cleaning that thing again.

New game demos, new movies, long weekend, awesometastic!

The new demo for the xbox 360 game 'Dead Rising' is out today for download. The full game comes out next week and I can hardly wait. The basic idea is that the town is crawling with zombies, you are a star reporter that wants to get to the bottom of what is causing it. You are dropped off at a mall and have 72 hours to figure it out. Of course everything in the mall is a weapon waiting to be used. Everything from cash registers to lawnmowers is a weapon, plus you can do a ton of things too much to describe so I will leave a link.

I would say that half of the apartment is now packed thanks in large part to my g/f who has done the majority of the packing. I am hoping to finish it off this weekend and continue with the cleaning process to get my damage deposit back. Oh ya and I have put 2 movies on reserve tonight, V for Vendetta and The Descent. Nothing beats the action and horror movie combo. Should be a good weekend, and since monday is a holiday it will be that much better.

Anyways so there is this asswipe that parks next to me at my apartment building. He has been there as long as I have lived in my current apartment (2 years, 4 before that in another apartment in the same building.) About a year or so ago this retard got the idea in his head that I scuffed the door on his truck. He left me a note stating that if it doesnt come out (buff out) I will have to pay and to learn how to fucking park.

The irony is that I parked before he was there, so not only did I park in my spot before he arrived when he did he parked close to me! But i dont know how to park. Whatever numbnuts.

I met up with him shortly after, but the man that left the threating note wasnt so threatening. Funny how that works, I denied i did it and he said I did. So I asked for proof it was me and surprisingly he had no actual proof. Case closed I thought. Fast forward 1 year, I was leaving for my brothers grad and this fucktard parked his truck so close to me I couldnt get my door open enough to get in. I left him a note asking to please remember other people park around him and if I cant safely open my door then he is obviously parking too close. Thank you.

He responded with a note "Please remember you still dont know how to fucking park, the last time was free the next one wont be." Tough words there, sounds like a threat. Hmmmm contacted the landlord who said hed talk to the guy, i wanted another spot to park in. THe one beside me on the right was open so I would just pull over more and let the moron be happy. THe landord supposedly talked to him and didnt really get much accomplished from what i could tell. But I pulled over leaving a good 3 feet between him and my drivers side I ran into the guy a little while after, he never said anything to me. Id figure somebody so tough and angry would have something to say. Guess not.

Yesterday I arrived home from work to find a blue crapbox parked in the spot I was using to give tardnuts the space he wanted. I had to park really close to this car (it was parked at some dumbass angle with its like this // ) but managed to stay in my spot and not cross into the neighbors.

I knew that this might cause issues but be fucking damned if I am going to park on the street. So I go out later to move my car when I see the blue car has left, and I notice the note maker has left me a gift. "Is it time we met behind the tracks, stay away from my truck."

Ok so again he parks close to me and says stay away from my truck, and meeting behind the tracks I can only assume he wants to act out his favorite homosexual fantasy. Because if this tough guy wanted to scrap he sure as hell wouldnt have turned and walked the other way this morning when I seen him coming out of the building. Fucking pussy, now I am not a fighter and I like to avoid them if possible. However I have several friends who dont share this feeling, so maybe if hes looking for a scrap i can arrange something.

OF course if the faggot wants to meet for some other reason hes on his own.
